Welcome to Hobbytwin’s Terms and Conditions of Use!

By Signing Up to Hobbytwin, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

When you download the Hobbytwin app and create an account or use the services provided by the Hobbytwin desktop version (Coming Soon), you agree to the following terms and conditions.

The hobbytwin app is provided by Hobbytwin Ltd, hence; these terms represent agreements between you and Hobbytwin Ltd.

Hobbytwin Service to you

Hobbytwin provides you, the customer, a service that includes features, hobbytwin products, services, software, and technologies that services the mission of hobbytwin; uniting, educating, and helping neighbors discover their talents and passions through hobbies for fun networking.

Who can use hobbytwin?

Anyone above 12 years of age can use the Hobbytwin app and desktop version. We believe everyone deserves a right to discover themselves and who they were meant to be from a young age.
As a user, you are solely responsible for all the content that occurs on your profile. This includes any text, information, data, screen names, audio and video clips, photos, graphics, posts, and your conduct as you upload any material to the Hobbytwin service.
You must not post obscene, nude, partially nude, or sexually suggestive content on your profile.
You must respect other users of the hobbytwin app. You must not abuse, harass, threaten, intimidate, or impersonate other app users.
You are responsible for your account information and login details. Do not share your password with a third party.
You must not hack, modify, or adapt another software or website in the pretense that it is related to Hobbytwin. You cannot use the Hobbytwin service for any illegal or authorized course. All users, including international users, agree to adhere to all local laws regarding the content deemed acceptable, and legal online conduct in their jurisdiction.
Thou shall not spam other hobbytwin service users! You may not create, circulate, forward, distribute, or submit unwanted comments, emails, or documents to other hobbytwin users. Thou shall not spam!
You must not scrape, crawl, or cache any data from Hobbytwin. The content includes but is not limited to the posts on user profiles or content uploaded by any hobbytwin user.
As a Hobbytwin user, you must not submit, upload, or use web pages, or URLs, links, or any other web material without prior permission obtained from Hobbytwin LTD.
You must not access Hobbytwin’s private data such as algorithms, prototypes, dashboards, designs, or API by any other means other than the Hobbytwin service itself.
You must not create, distribute, transmit, share, or upload any viruses, worms, or any code of destructive nature.
You agree that you must not violate any laws in your jurisdiction in the use of Hobbytwin, including, but not limited to infringing copyright laws.

Violation of any of the above agreements results in the termination of your hobbytwin account.
- Kindly note that while hobbytwin does not condone such material and conduct on its site, you fully understand and agree that Hobbytwin Limited cannot be responsible for the material uploaded on its app and website, and you may be exposed to such materials nonetheless, and you use the service at your own risk.

Rights and Conditions maintained by Hobbytwin

Hobbytwin LTD reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Hobbytwin app and platform for any reason, and without notice at any time.
Hobbytwin Limited reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time and for any reason.
We reserve the right to change or update the above Terms of Use at any time. In case of any update or material change, hobbytwin shall notify all users via internet email used at registration.
We reserve the right to demand and force forfeiture of any inactive profile or user name that may violate the trademark, mislead other users, or demean and underrate these Terms and Conditions.
Hobbytwin service reserves the right to reclaim usernames on behalf of individuals, businesses, or entities that hold legal claims or of trademarks on those usernames.
We have no obligation to do this, but we may remove content or accounts with content that we determine in our sole discretion to be offensive, unlawful, libelous demeaning, threatening, obscene, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable of undermining or in violation of any party’s intellectual property of our Terms of Use.

Content Proprietary Rights

Hobbytwin does NOT claim any ownership rights to any material (“Content”) posted by its user through its service. This includes but is not limited to images, files, photos, videos, tests, musical works, sounds, applications, or any works of authorship. By uploading, publishing (“posting”), or displaying any content through the Hobbytwin service you hereby grant to the service a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, and fully paid, limited license to utilize, modify as deemed fit, add to, delete from, publicly display, publicly perform, translate and reproduce the content including without limitation distributing as part or as a whole of the site in any media formats through any media channels, with the exception of private content (“uploaded/posted as such”) that will not be distributed outside the Hobbytwin Limited services.
Currently, hobbytwin services are not supported by advertising or promotions revenues, but this may change soon. As such, you hereby agree that Hobbytwin may display such adverts and promotions on the Hobbytwin Services or on, about, or in collusion with your content. The way in which, the mode, as well as the extent of such promos and adverts, will be subject to change without prior nor specific notice to you.
Hobbytwin services contain Hobbytwin limited content. This content is protected by copyright, patents, trade secrets, trademarks, and other laws, and hobbytwin retains all rights to all Hobbytwin content and the hobbytwin services. Consequently, Hobbytwin grants the user a limited, non-sublicensable, and revocable license to display and reproduce Hobbytwin content solely for your personal use related to viewing the site and using its service, apart from any personal and private software code.
By using Hobbytwin services, you represent and warrant that;
You own all content posted through your profile, and, or otherwise have the right to grant the license stipulated in this section.
Your use of the Hobbytwin services either through posting or sharing content through these services DOES NOT in any way violate the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, copyrights, publicity rights or contract rights, or rights of any other person (either a user or a non-user) of Hobbytwin services.
Your usage and posting of material of any content through the Hobbytwin services does not result in a breach of contract between yourself and a third party. You, therefore, agree to pay for all fees, royalties, or any other monies owing any person as a result of the content you publish through your Hobbytwin profile.
Hobbytwin services, both app and desktop versions are not available at the moment, still in their infancy development stages. However, they should be online soon, and when they do, they shall be normally available and accessible through phones, tablets, and PCs. However, there might be exceptions where they may be interrupted for upgrades, scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, or when there are equipment and telecommunication failures beyond Hobbytwin’s control. Although Hobbytwin will normally delete content that violates these TERMS AND CONDITIONS, Hobbytwin reserves the right to delete any content without prior notice or consent. The deleted content may still be stored on Hobbytwin servers to meet certain legal obligations, but it will not be retrievable without a court order. However, since Hobbytwin is not a backup service, it will not be liable for any suspension, modification, loss, or discontinuation of services; hence, you are advised to keep a backup of your content.

Disclaimer

These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time at our discretion. If we should update these terms, we will prompt all users to read and agree to the new terms on the homepage of our app as soon as they are published.
